Big Batch Red Sangria Smash
Makes: 4 – 8 Servings
3 Tbsp. Sugar
1 Orange, seeds removed, cut into chunks
1-1/4 Cups Mixed Fresh Berries (blueberries, raspberries, strawberries)
¾ cup Fresh Orange Juice
1/3 Cup Brandy
One 750-ml Bottle of Red Wine
Plain Seltzer, optional
Extra fresh berries for garnish
Place the sugar, orange chunks, and berries into a pitcher and smash with a wooden spoon to release the juices.
Add the orange juice, brandy, and red wine, and let steep for a couple of hours.
Pour into glasses filled with ice. Top off with some seltzer if you like your sangria a bit bubbly.
Garnish with fresh berries.
Winter Citrus Sparkling Margaritas
Makes: 2 Cocktails
4 oz. Fresh Cara Cara Orange Juice (about 3-4 medium oranges)
4 oz. Blanco Tequila
½ oz. Triple Sec
½ oz. Fresh Lime Juice
4 oz. Blood Orange Seltzer
1 Tbsp. Sugar
Lime Wedges, for garnish
Run a lime wedge around the outer rims of two glasses and dip in the sugar.
In a shaker filled with ice, combine the Cara Cara orange juice, tequila, triple sec, and lime juice.
Shake until well-chilled.
Strain into glasses over fresh ice.
Top with the blood orange seltzer.
Garnish with lime wedges.
